I’m truly excited to share my South Africa safari webisode with you. Since I was a child I dreamed of going on safari and seeing wildlife in its natural habitat. This experience was truly a dream come true! I spotted the big 5 game: African elephant, rhino, cape buffalo, leopard and lion.
Growing up Harley Davidson seemed like a brand that was out of reach for what I created in my own mind. My perspective about Harley Davidson has done a complete 180-degree turn after spending time at House of Harley. Harley Davidson represents America, an American brand with a history that I soon found myself wanting to join.
Three weeks ago I was walking though my apartment and received an email from South Africa Tourism asking if I was interested in joining them on a trip to South Africa to visit Johannesburg, Kruger Park, Cape Town and Durban. Today, I was able to pinch myself when I arrived at Washington Dulles Airport and boarded South Africa Airways flight 208 to Johannesburg.
In a few hours I’m headed home to South Africa, Africa; the motherland. During this life changing journey I’m going to explore SA visiting Johannesbrug, Kruger Park, Cape Town, Durban and much more!
Whitney Houston died yesterday and as the world celebrates her memory, my celebrations takes me to South Africa. In 1994 she performed in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg to honor President Nelson Mandela and celebrate South Africa as a unified apartheid free nation. Her last performance in Johannesburg was in front of 200,000 people.
